Conservation through innovation
The N/a’an ku sê Foundation is a charity dedicated to conserving the landscapes, cultures and wildlife of Namibia. Originating as a small wildlife sanctuary nestled in the Namibian bush, N/a’an ku sê is now a world-famous conservation organisation.
The N/a’an ku sê Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary provides a safe haven and second chance for countless injured, orphaned and conflict animals. Wherever possible our aim is to release animals back into the wild.
Our mission is to conserve the land, cultures and wildlife of Namibia, Africa. We aim to achieve this through encouraging participation, education and innovative activity.

N/a’an ku sê Conservation Activities
N/a’an ku sê has adopted a holistic approach to conservation, which is based on the recognition that an ecosystem’s health is linked to its local populations’ well-being. We look not only at the wildlife factors, but also the human factors and the landscapes to which they belong.
Throughout our projects across Namibia, N/a’an ku sê has implemented many actions to not only reduce our impact, but preserve the landscapes we have assumed stewardship of.
N/a’an ku sê provides an important source of employment, accommodation, education and healthcare to several Bushman families through each of our projects.
