Fila, little lips firmly latched onto her thumb, stole our hearts in December 2015. The tragic result of a mother baboon being shot, Fila was kept tied up for a number of weeks before being brought to the N/a’an ku sê Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary. She is one the more timid of our bouncy bunch of baboons, and it takes some time to win her trust.

Fila loves her daily walks on the reserve and takes pleasure in all the little things life has to offer.

We do not receive any government funding and are solely reliant on generous donations to continue caring for the many orphaned, injured and conflict animals that call N/a’an ku sê home. We simply could not do what we do without our supporters and donors.
