Volunteer

Turn your holiday into a true adventure. Get your hands dirty and dive into an exciting new opportunity where your day starts with the roar of a lion and ends with new found friends sitting around an open fire. There’s nowhere like Naankuse, a oasis in the desert where you find yourself in the midst of change everyday.
Can I ?

Work hands on with some of Africa’s greatest wildlife. Feed cheetahs, leopards, lions and Africa’s second most endangered carnivore, the African Wild Dog! Be a part of true conservation. Naankuse is a wildlife sanctuary that takes all animals big and small and we need you to help us care for them. When we get a call to mitigate human wildlife conflict across Namibia, you are there with us every step of the way.

Naankuse is more than just a volunteer experience, it’s a chance to provide change.

Being a Naankuse Medical Volunteer is so much more than just being a medic. Be immersed in the culture of Epikuro, home to the San Bushman. Experience day-to-day life and the common struggles faced by the community. Work from within the clinic treating endemic issues like TB and help provide high quality healthcare to those who need it most.

You don’t need medical skills your value can be IT, DIY, painting or anything an isolated clinic can use.

Volunteer at the Naankuse Lifeline Clinic and make a difference today!

Explore the Namib Desert search of wild cheetahs. Climb sweeping mountains in search of elusive leopards. Be a part of something equally incredible and important.

Naankuse has two research sites in southern Namibia, Neuras and Kanaan. Track the longest recorded Leopard in the desert oasis, Neuras, while exploring canyons and untouched landscapes. Hike the Namib dunes of Kanaan whilst setting camera traps to locate spotted hyena dens and assisting in the collaring of desert cheetahs. A truly rare experience that you’re never forget.

Be a Naankuse Research volunteer.
